Diagnosis -
Think of the diagnosis as similar to a doctor caring for a patient. A visit
starts with an interview and an examination, the purpose of which is to identify
existing problems that become the basis for prescribing steps the patient can
take to return to full health. In our context, the diagnosis is important
for two reasons: 1) the analyst and the client collaboratively agree on the
"vital few" issues that, if addressed excellently, would achieve stated goals,
2) the client and Tax & Financial Solutions, Inc. (TAFS) learn how to work
together to achieve the desired end.
The importance of the initial step cannot be overstated. As in all
Quality issues, projects started poorly have a high probability of failure.
As a precaution and at the completion of the oral report that ends step one, the
client can exercise the Guarantee (terms of which can be found on the home
page). TAFS will decline cases in which the analyst doesn't believe that
the client will receive $3 or more in return for every $1 invested. As
only a client can control change within their environment, TAFS will also
decline cases where clients are too busy or can't commit to seeing interventions
to fruition.
